The heat is on this weekend as highs climb into the upper 80s, with some spots reaching 90 degrees, mainly in western suburbs away from the coast. A beach breeze will keep temperatures in the lower to middle 80s, making the coast the place to be.

Rain chances are about 10% Saturday, increasing to 30% Sunday and 50% by Monday as a cold front approaches South Florida. After Monday, temperatures will fall back closer to 80 degrees through the rest of next week, so this brief burst of heat won’t last long.
