Super Bowl LIV fans face low possibility of tornadoes overnight with stormy weather

Weather alerts: Severe thunderstorms affect parties in South Florida

MIAMI — Super Bowl LIV fans face a low possibility of tornadoes during thunderstorms Friday night and Saturday morning in areas of South Florida.

Flooding disrupted Key West's Friday night party.

Aside from the likelihood of damaging winds, heavy rain could cause flooding in areas of Palm Beach, Broward, Miami-Dade and Monroe counties.

The weather conditions will improve during the late morning and worsen again on Saturday afternoon.

The weather alerts will clear just in time for Super Bowl Sunday when it will be cooler, sunny and dry.
