Broward judge clears police officer in 2019 UPS shootout, citing ‘stand your ground’ law
A police officer has been cleared of wrongdoing in connection with a 2019 shootout in Miramar that left a UPS employee and another victim dead.
Miami-Dade prosecutors were waiting for blood test results to decide whether or not to charge a 58-year-old man with DUI manslaughter, a second-degree felony with a maximum sentence of 30 years in prison.
