Prior to her return, she made a stop at WFLA (NBC) in Tampa where she guided viewers through the devastation caused by Hurricane Helene and Milton.
Linnie also reported for WPTV (NBC) in West Palm Beach and will never forget covering that fateful morning when the Champlain Towers South collapsed in Surfside.

A few lesser-known facts about Linnie: She’s a passionate ballet dancer, but really lights up when volunteering and mentoring children. She was also crowned Miss Palm Beach County USA and Miss Treasure Coast USA.
Having the opportunity to report in the Miami-Ft. Lauderdale market for WPLG was a longtime career goal and now a dream come true for Linnie.
