Our Thanksgiving Day will be an interesting one, with warm, humid air giving way to scattered afternoon showers and storms. It’s difficult to pinpoint where the strongest storms will develop, but everyone has at least some chance of having to take their outdoor turkey dinners indoors, especially between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m.

A cold front is on the way and will arrive Thursday afternoon. Ahead of the front, humidity has increased and the atmosphere is becoming more unstable, so look for some showers and a possible thunderstorm today, with a better chance as we head into Thanksgiving tomorrow.

It was a warmer Friday, with highs finally reaching 80 degrees again. A couple of showers offshore may try to reach the coastline in Broward and Miami-Dade counties. There is just a 10% chance of that overnight, but most should expect a dry weekend.
