Alexis Frazier is an Emmy-award winning journalist who joined the Local 10 News team in April 2020 as the morning traffic reporter. Within a year, she was promoted to anchor, and now co-anchors the Local 10 morning news.
A proud Fort Lauderdale native, Alexis is passionate about telling stories that connect with the South Florida community. In addition to her anchoring duties, she created "Fresh," a vibrant entertainment franchise that airs every Friday and is currently being developed into a full show.
She graduated from Florida A&M University in the fall of 2013 with a degree in broadcast journalism.
Before returning to her home state, she built her reporting and anchoring experience at ABC affiliates in Texas and South Carolina. She started her career at a CBS affiliate in Mississippi.
When she’s not on air, Alexis likes to travel, try new food recipes, spend time with family, read, and blast Beyoncé on repeat.
