Aaron came to Local 10 from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where he worked as a weekend morning anchor and reporter at WITI-TV. During his time there, he covered major events, including the COVID-19 pandemic, the vaccine rollout, and the protests following the death of George Floyd.
His in-depth reporting has earned him 13 Emmy nominations. In 2020, 2021, and 2024, the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association honored Aaron with the award for Best Live On-Scene Reporting. In 2025, his feature reporting also earned a Salute to Excellence Award from the National Association of Black Journalists.
Aaron started his career in Charleston, South Carolina, as a reporter and fill-in anchor. There, he covered significant stories such as the federal trial of Emanuel AME Church shooter Dylann Roof, Hurricanes Irma and Matthew, and South Carolina’s historic “1,000-year” flood. He also had the opportunity to interview First Lady Jill Biden.
Aaron earned his B.A. in Journalism from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Passionate about mentoring future journalists, Aaron served on Marquette University’s Board for Student Media. He regularly speaks at local schools, volunteers in the community, and enjoys running and spending time outdoors.
Aaron grew up visiting relatives in South Florida and is looking forward to spending time with them when he’s not at work.
