PEMBROKE PINES, Fla. — An arrest has been made following a deadly shooting outside a popular Broward County sports bar.
The shooting occurred around 3:45 a.m. Sunday outside Rickey’s Sports Bar and Grill, located at 8389 Pines Blvd., just west of University Drive.
Noon report:
Two men were rushed to the hospital, one of whom did not survive, according to police.
Authorities have not publicly identified the victim.
On Sunday, detectives located the suspect, 27-year-old Clayton Hicks, in Miami and taken into custody by the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office and the FBI, according to Pembroke Pines police.
He was booked into the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center where he awaits extradition to Broward County on second-degree murder charges.
