Get ready to sweat again Sunday as scorching temperatures are set to take over by the afternoon. We will start the day with lows in the upper 70s and the lower 80s.

Temperatures will swiftly climb to 91° by the afternoon. It could feel like 100°+. We won’t see a significant rain as well. Sea breeze storms will develop inland by the afternoon and track westward leaving the metro mostly dry. We will continue to monitor the development of a surface low off the coast of the Carolinas Tuesday. This low will increase shower and thunderstorm activity starting Tuesday into Wednesday.
