Broward judge clears police officer in 2019 UPS shootout, citing ‘stand your ground’ law
A police officer has been cleared of wrongdoing in connection with a 2019 shootout in Miramar that left a UPS employee and another victim dead.
After Clifford Saint-Pierre pistol-whipped a man in the head after breaking into an apartment in Miami’s Wynwood neighborhood, the gun fired, and a bullet pierced through the front door, through another apartment’s front door, and struck a neighbor who had just gotten up from his couch, according to an arrest warrant.
