Hannah Yechivi joined the Local 10 News team in May of 2024.
Hannah is a two-time Edward R. Murrow award winner and a four-time Emmy-nominated reporter who comes to South Florida from Portland, Maine where she was a reporter and anchor.
Hannah earned Emmy nominations for her coverage during the Lewiston mass shooting, a deep-dive on the decline of French speakers and culture in Maine, and two other human-interest feature stories she found, shot, wrote, and edited.
Hannah began her journalism career in Bangor, Maine as a multimedia-journalist.
Hannah is tri-lingual, fluent in Spanish as she was born and raised in San Jose, Costa Rica, and understands French. She received her degree in journalism from the University of South Florida in Tampa.
Hannah is excited to cover stories that matter to South Floridians and wants to give them a platform to have their voices heard.
If you don’t see her on TV, she is probably reading a book by the pool, working out at the gym, or trying some of South Florida’s best restaurants.
