After an active weekend with record heat and strong thunderstorms, we have quieter weather to look forward to this week.

May 1: High heat continues through weekend with dry forecast until Sunday

It’s going to be another hot day with areas away from the water reaching 90° again.

Record heat into the weekend ahead of Sunday storms

We are completely dry through Saturday. It’s all about the heat with the first 90s of the year for South Florida. We will be around 90 degrees on Thursday but that 93 degrees on Saturday will challenge some records.

April 29: Stray shower possible, but most will stay dry

We could get a stray light shower today, but just about all of us will be dry.

April 28: Heat builds, storms stay west; wildfire smoke a concern

We could see a stray shower on Tuesday, but the stronger storms will remain well west in the Everglades. This pattern is expected to continue Wednesday.

April 27: Expect fewer downpours today in South Florida

Evening storms will continue to come to an end. Clouds will break apart, and we can expect mostly dry conditions tonight. Lows will continue to fall into the lower 70s.

Low humidity, isolated showers start Friday in South Florida

It has been a nice start to Friday with low humidity and only an isolated shower or two. High temperatures will reach near 80 degrees with thunderstorms developing after 3 p.m. in the Everglades.

It’s another windy day with gusts 25-30 mph, but expect big improvement over the next couple days.

Mondays cool front left us with low humidity, highs struggling to reach 80 degrees, and wind gusts up to 35 mph.

South Florida’s weather is turning active as a cool front moves our way.

We started Friday with a couple of isolated showers, mainly in Broward County. Most of these will shift west out of our area this afternoon, leading to a mostly dry day.

April 16: Warm, dry conditions ahead before weekend heat builds

It’s another nice day with low humidity and highs in the low to middle 80s, which is seasonal for this time of year.
