MIAMI — With the NBA tradeline deadline ending at 3 p.m. on Thursday, the Miami Heat were expected to make moves for superstars Giannis Antetokounmpo and Ja Morant.

However, the deadline passed and the Heat didn’t make a single move.

Miami is the only team in the eastern conference to not make a trade, and one of three teams in the entire NBA to not make a single move.

It was a long saga between Miami and the Milwaukee Bucks, as both teams tried agreeing on a trade that would have sent Antetokounmpo to South Beach.

The Bucks decided that they were not going to trade the Greek star in this deadline, and that made Miami look for other options.

Miami ended up keeping the team the same for the rest of the season.
