MIAMI — History could be made Tuesday night at Amerant Bank Arena, so the Miami Marlins will begin the second game of their four-game series against the Philadelphia Phillies at loanDepot park 30 minutes earlier.

Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final between the Edmonton Oilers and Florida Panthers is slated for 8:00 p.m. ET on Tuesday -- with Florida just one win away from their second straight Stanley Cup.

Originally scheduled for a 6:40 p.m. ET first pitch, the Marlins game will now take place at 6:10 p.m. ET to avoid an overlap, according to the team.

In 2023, when both the Miami Heat and Panthers were competing in their respective championship series, the Marlins adjusted the start time of a Wednesday game against the Kansas City Royals to avoid overlapping with the Heat’s NBA Finals game against the Denver Nuggets.
