Trump presents plan to end Israel-Hamas war

WASHINGTON — The Palestinian Authority, a rival of Hamas, announced on Monday that it supports President Donald Trump’s plan to end the Israel-Hamas war.

Trump announced the 20-point plan after a meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday at the White House.

The plan -- which calls for Hamas to release Israeli hostages within 72 hours -- involves having the Palestinian Authority, the Fatah party that governs parts of the West Bank, return to Gaza.
