MIAMI — A restaurant dispute that stretched on for more than two hours Saturday ended with Miami police using a Taser on a 35-year-old man who refused to leave, the restaurant’s chief operations manager said.

According to the chef operations manager of Primo’s Italian Restaurant on North Bayshore Drive, Richard James Scott called himself the son of God before he was finally handcuffed and arrested.

Cellphone video captured the moment police used a Taser on Scott outside the restaurant.

“It was a bad time for our people, for my employee, especially for the customers,” said Ugo Patierno, the restaurant’s chef operations manager.

Patierno said Scott tried to pay for a couple of drinks with a fake credit card before telling him to charge it to his room at the neighboring Doubletree by Hilton Grand Hotel. But the number Scott gave for the room was also fake: 666, Patierno said.

“He said, ‘I’m the son of God. So this is my room, you can charge on my room.’ I laughed the first time,” Patierno said.

Patierno said Scott eventually became aggressive, yelling at him and the staff. They asked him to leave, but he refused, and police were called, Patierno said.

According to Patierno, that started a prolonged interaction with police before Scott finally got up and walked out of the hotel restaurant.

Outside, he allegedly tried to get into a Rolls-Royce that wasn’t his. That’s when police used a Taser on him.

Scott was taken to jail, where he was booked on trespassing and disorderly conduct charges.

He appeared in bond court Sunday afternoon, where a judge set his bond at $650.

Scott was also ordered to stay away from the hotel and restaurant.
