MIRAMAR, Fla. — Authorities responded to a car on fire in Broward County on Sunday morning.

It was outside a home located along the 6200 block of Southwest 27th Street in Miramar.

According to rescue officials, they arrived to find a vehicle that was fully engulfed in flames.

Crews were able to quickly extinguish the blaze before it could cause any damage to nearby homes, officials said.

The State Fire Marshal was called to the scene to investigate the circumstances that led to the fire being started.

No injuries were reported.
