NORTH LAUDERDALE, Fla. — A boy nearly drowned on Sunday morning in a house pool in Broward County, according to Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies.
Deputies and fire rescue personnel responded at about 10:30 a.m. on Sunday to a house along Pebble Beach Road, near McNab Road, in North Lauderdale.
Fire rescue personnel took the boy to a nearby hospital, where he remained on Sunday night, according to BSO deputies.
At least three children have drowned this summer in Broward County.
A 2-year-old boy drowned on July 12 in a lake in Plantation.
Nearby, a 4-year-old girl drowned on July 5 in a lake in Plantation.
A 4-year-old boy drowned on June 19 in a pool in North Lauderdale.
