MIAMI — A man was critically injured in a shooting Thursday night in Miami.

Police said officers responded around 9:30 p.m. to the 2100 block of Northwest Third Avenue after receiving reports about a person who had been shot.

Miami Fire Rescue medics transported the man to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center in critical condition.

Police continue to investigate the shooting.

No other details were immediately released.
