Netflix launching new version of former popular Star Search show

PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. — It’s not your parents’ “Star Search.”

This is “Star Search” elevated, as Netflix has resurrected the popular 80’s variety show.

It’s complete with a cast of superstar judges – country pop star Jelly Roll, actress Sarah Michelle Gellar, and tv personality Chrissy Teigen – and one super funny host in Anthony Anderson.
