HOLLYWOOD, Fla. — Firefighters responded to a fire at a gas station in Hollywood on Thursday evening after a driver pulled away with a gas pump hose still attached, officials said.

The incident happened around 7 p.m. near Pembroke Road and South 28th Avenue.

Firefighters said the detached hose sparked the flames.

Everyone at the station was safely evacuated, and no injuries were reported.
