Man arrested after allegedly groping Uber driver, causing her to crash

Cellphone video captured the moments that Uber driver was standing outside her black car in shock.

That woman, who asked not to be identified while speaking to Local 10’s Roy Ramos, said her passenger grabbed her and began to sexually assault her as she was driving.

She described how the man randomly came up with different directions, but it’s when she turned down a dark street that she said he attacked her.

“In that moment, he covered my mouth and began to grope me and sexually assault me,” she told Ramos in Spanish while showing him the severe bruising to her chest, scratches to her neck and scrapes to her mouth that were left behind in the alleged attack, which she said caused her to crash.

“In that moment I panicked and lost control of the car and crashed,” she said.

The alleged victim wrecked into another car, which hit the wall of a nearby church. The victim’s vehicle then barreled into a concrete wall of a storage facility.

Cell phone video shows the moment she said her passenger jumped out of her car and ran off.

City of Miami police said they responded to the wreck just before 2 a.m. Saturday and located the suspect a few blocks away and arresting him.

That suspect has been identified as Oscar Sanchez Aguire, 26.

He is facing charges that include battery and culpable negligence resulting in injuries.

Aguirre is now being held on an immigration hold with no bond.
