MIAMI — With the College Football Championship set for Monday, coaches Mario Cristobal and Curt Cignetti held their final press conferences Sunday as they prepared for the title game.

Cristobal spoke about the team’s mindset heading into the finale.

“It’s what we do, and I think certain things you reflect upon after the season when it’s done,” Cristobal said. “There’s no value right now in getting off course or getting away from your process. That’s where the entire focus is. That’s what the mentality has always been, and that’s what it is today and all the way through tomorrow.”

Both coaches were asked what it would mean to win the national championship, and each gave the same response.

“It would mean we’re a national champion.”
