DORAL, Fla. — A Doral lottery player may have gotten an early Christmas present over the weekend.

A lucky Powerball player won the $1 million second-tier prize in Saturday’s drawing.

He or she purchased the winning ticket at the Publix at 9755 NW 41st St., within the Doral Plaza shopping center.

Nobody won the top jackpot, though, meaning the grand prize for Monday’s drawing has rolled over to an eye-popping $1.6 billion.
