The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office confirmed that the victim is an adult woman.

Ron Von Paulus, owner of Big Robs Tree Service, said the woman’s body was left in front of his business around 5 a.m. Friday in the West Perrine area.

The incident happened in a dark industrial park near Southwest 100th Avenue and Southwest 107th Street.

Von Paulus provided surveillance video that he said shows a truck looping through the area around 5 a.m. before pulling over.

The driver appears to get out, open the trunk and drag what is believed to be a woman’s body onto the ground before driving away.

Within minutes, Von Paulus said he was arriving at work when a neighboring business noticed the body and alerted authorities.

“That coldness is just incomprehensible to me. How can somebody think like that? It’s just inhumane to me,” he said.

Additional video shared by Von Paulus shows investigators combing the scene as they worked to piece together what happened.

He and his employees said they are shaken and hopeful investigators can identify and arrest the person responsible.

Anyone with information on the case is urged to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-8477.
