MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. — The Miami Dolphins have activated offensive lineman Austin Jackson and tight end Darren Waller off injured reserve ahead of their Week 13 matchup against the New Orleans Saints, the team announced Saturday.

Miami also waived tight end Hayden Rucci and offensive lineman Kion Smith.

Jackson, a five-year veteran, has played in 57 career games with 55 starts, including stints at left tackle, left guard, and right tackle.

He was the Dolphins’ first-round pick (18th overall) in the 2020 NFL Draft out of Southern California. Jackson was placed on injured reserve Sept. 13 with a toe injury.

Waller, who missed nearly a month with a pectoral strain, has 10 catches for 117 yards and four touchdowns.

Waller has appeared in 90 career games with 64 starts and recorded 360 receptions for 4,241 yards and 24 touchdowns during stints with Baltimore, Oakland/Las Vegas, the New York Giants, and Miami.

Rucci, who was undrafted out of Wisconsin in 2024, played four games with Miami, while Smith appeared in 20 career games with two starts at right guard.

Cornerback Rasul Douglas and defensive tackle Benito Jones are questionable, while center Aaron Brewer was upgraded to full participation.

Miami (4-7), winners of two straight, will host the Saints (2-9) in a 1 p.m. ET kickoff at Hard Rock Stadium.
