MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. — A woman rushing two men to a hospital early Thursday led Miami-Dade deputies to a stabbing investigation, authorities said.
Deputies responded around 5:45 a.m. to Northwest 18th Avenue and 84th Street, where the woman told them she was stopped at a traffic light when the men approached her asking for help. She drove them to Hialeah Hospital.
One man had a stab wound and was later taken to Ryder Trauma Center in critical but stable condition.
According to deputies, the men said they had been at a party when a fight broke out and one of them was stabbed by someone they knew.
The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office General Investigations Unit is handling the case.
