MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. — Detectives released surveillance video showing a 36-year-old man who stands accused of 25 retail thefts in Miami-Dade County.

Inmate records show Lazaro Cabrera was at the Metrowest Detention Center on Tuesday night, after corrections booked him on Nov. 19.

The stolen merchandise was valued at more than $70,000, and the alleged crimes were from August 2024 to September, records show.

In most cases, Cabrera arrived at stores like TJ Maxx and Ross with a suitcase that he then used to pack the stolen items and flee, according to deputies.
