Man injured in shooting in Pompano Beach, deputies say

POMPANO BEACH, Fla. — Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies are investigating a shooting that left a man injured Thursday night in Pompano Beach.

Deputies responded around 8:44 p.m. to reports of gunfire near the 2700 block of West Atlantic Boulevard. They found a man with a gunshot wound, and Pompano Beach Fire Rescue took him to a nearby hospital. His condition is unknown.

Detectives with BSO’s Violent Crimes and Crime Scene units are investigating.
