Surveillance video from Snoopy’s Smoke Shop, located off Federal Highway near Sunrise Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale, shows someone hurling a rock through the front door Sunday, triggering the alarm.

The video then shows the group reaching inside to unlock the door before walking in and quickly rummaging through displays.

The suspects can be seen searching for vape pens and cannabis products. Within a minute, they walk out with their arms full of merchandise believed to be worth more than $1,000.

“One of them was really short (and) he looked like he was in middle school,“ the Snoopy’s Smoke Shop employee said. ”They were like handpicking out what flavor vapes that they wanted and then they grabbed like two ounces of our in-house medical flower."

Third smoke shop break-in reported in Broward County in last 2 days Another smoke shop has been targeted in a late night break-in, and this time the suspects appear to be young teenagers.

The burglary comes just a day after police in Margate reported two similar break-ins at smoke shops, where thieves also stole thousands of dollars in vape pens.

An employee at Vapor Shark Store in Margate told Local 10 News they believe the stolen items are being resold.

“For them to just quickly take that and then it cost another $600 to fix the door,” he said. “It kind of takes it out of paying everybody else that works here too.”
