Police: Toddler left unattended in bathtub, rushed to hospital after being found with no pulse

NORTH MIAMI BEACH, Fla. — A toddler was rushed to hospital after nearly drowning in North Miami Beach.

It happened Monday afternoon along the 700 block of Northeast 169th Street in North Miami Beach.

According to police, a 1-year-old child was briefly left unsupervised in the bathtub by the parents, who found the baby with no pulse.

Fire rescue crews arrived and performed CPR on the child, getting a faint pulse before rushing to Jackson North Medical Center, police said.

There have been no updates on the child’s health.
