POMPANO BEACH, Fla. — An 18-year-old man and two boys were arrested for robbing a victim in Pompano Beach on Wednesday evening, according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office.
It happened at around 7 p.m. in the area of Northwest Sixth Street and Fourth Avenue.
“When deputies arrived on scene, the victim stated three unknown subjects had robbed him at gunpoint,” a BSO spokesperson said. “A perimeter was established and BSO K9 and Aviation units were notified to respond. Detectives with BSO’s Robbery and Crime Scene units were also contacted to investigate.”
According to BSO, deputies eventually located Courtney James and the two boys, whose ages weren’t specified by officials.
James faces charges of armed robbery and resisting arrest without violence.
As of Thursday, he was being held in the BSO Main Jail.
