Medley police held a news conference on Friday after releasing pictures of the attackers.

The incident happened at a shipping warehouse at 8333 NW 68th St. on the afternoon of Sept. 24.

Police said the masked men walked into the business, which ships goods to the Dominican Republic, and began beating the 70-year-old worker with the bats.

“There was no exchange of words, there was no argument. It was walking in and it was a targeted attack,” said Officer Deglys Chavarria of the Medley Police Department.

The victim tried to raise his arms to protect himself after the attackers pushed him to the ground. The senior told investigators that the men were speaking Spanish, possibly with a Dominican accent, during the attack.

Surveillance footage also captured the suspects fleeing in a white Nissan Altima “with black rims, dark tinted windows, (a) sunroof, black door handles, (a) black front grill, and (a) black gas cap,” police said in a news release.
