Bullets went flying Tuesday, hitting several cars, and injuring a woman.

Authorities have since arrested 24-year-old Otis Johnson, who appeared in bond court on Wednesday.

Investigators say he shot the woman multiple times at the San Tropez Apartments.

After the shooting, authorities said Johnson drove away and was eventually arrested by Hollywood police.

Detectives said a fight over custody between Johnson, the victim and others is what led to the gunfire.

According to police, Johnson shot at the woman and two other people, and then one of the men returned fire, but did not hit anyone.

Johnson is facing attempted second-degree murder and aggravated assault charges, and faces up to life in prison if convicted.
