Medley police cruiser collides with SUV

MEDLEY, Fla. — A Medley police officer was involved in a car crash Friday morning, authorities confirmed.

The crash was reported at the intersection of Northwest 121st Way and Northwest South River Drive, just south of Okeechobee Road.

A Local 10 News crew was in the area shortly after 7 a.m. as the police vehicle was about to be towed away.

A black SUV nearby, which had significant front-end damage, was also expected to be towed from the scene.

No other details were immediately released.
