MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. — Considered one television’s most revolutionary shows, “Miami Vice” was a trendsetter, pioneering a unique cinematic style, integrating flair and music into a police drama with the Magic City as its backdrop.
Over 40 years since its debut, the show still captivates.
Now, fans can relive the splendor with the second annual Miami Vice Week.
Stars from the show will be in attendance, and there will be different experiences from the show to enjoy, like panels and viewings of original episodes.
There will also be a “Miami Vice” memorabilia museum with actual props used in the series.
Festival founder Derek Hedlund stopped by Local 10 News to discuss the festival and his conversation with our Jason Carter can be seen at the top of this page.
