Octavius Nixon said his daughter, Ziyon Nixon, whose developmental delays make her vulnerable, didn’t come home on Saturday in Hollywood.

Police said on Monday that she had been located.

Nixon, 53, said he later learned she had met a man online and gone on a date with him. Nixon said the man said he dropped her off in North Miami after she told him she was going to meet a friend there.

Nixon had a message for Ziyon: “Daddy loves you, and I am not going to stop looking for you.”

Nixon said relatives were searching for Ziyon, including her mother and her brother, who had arrived at South Florida from Atlanta. In 2023, Ziyon had vanished at 14 in Hollywood, and she was reunited with her family.

A detective with the Hollywood Police Department asked anyone with information about Ziyon’s whereabouts to call 954-764-4357.
