Missing Child Alert issued for teenage boy last seen in Homestead

Missing Child Alert issued for Homestead teen after he fails to come home Police in Miami-Dade County are searching for a missing teenager.

HOMESTEAD, Fla. — Police in Miami-Dade County are searching for a missing teenager.

According to the Homestead Police Department, 17-year-old Micah Ezekiel Bell was last seen on Aug. 11 at approximately 9 a.m. leaving Blakey Park, located at 600 SW 14th Ave. in Homestead. Police said he was walking home from the park.

His family has not seen or heard from him since, police said.

Bell is described as 5-foot-7, weighing 120 pounds.

Police said Bell does not have a cellphone or any other way to communicate with his family, who told police that Bell does have some cognitive issues.

Anyone with information on Bell’s whereabouts or who thinks they may have seen him is urged to contact the Homestead Police Department at 305-247-1535.
