MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. — Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office deputies said Wednesday that they’re searching for a man and a woman ― who may have a baby in tow ― wanted in connection with the murder of a 37-year-old man missing from Hialeah.
Deputies said Alfredo Carballo Gonzalez, 32, and Ariely Alvarez Cabrera, 27, are being sought in the Aug. 3 death of Daylon Fleitas Gonzalez.
Hialeah police had been searching for Fleitas Gonzalez for about a week, deputies said Wednesday.
Deputies did not say where he was found dead or how he was killed.
They did say that Carballo Gonzalez and Alvarez Cabrera are believed to be with their 5-month-old son, Alain, “who may be in danger.”
“I don’t know if they are legally married, but they are a couple and they have this 5-month-old,” Detective Angel Rodriguez, an MDSO spokesperson, said. “They’re wanted for murder. They’re fleeing and they have a 5-month-old. Our biggest concern is the safety and the wellness of this 5-month-old baby.”
Deputies said they should be considered armed and dangerous and warned that anyone assisting them will face charges.
Anyone with information is asked to call MDSO homicide detectives at 305-471-2400 or Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-8477.
