WILTON MANORS, Fla. — Maranda Johnson, an ex-girlfriend of South Florida rapper Kodak Black who was featured on the reality show “W.A.G.s to Riches,” is facing a charge in connection with a destructive January brawl at a Wilton Manors nightclub, according to records obtained by Local 10 News.

Johnson, 23, of Fort Lauderdale, is facing a misdemeanor battery charge, according to court records. She’s set to appear in court on Aug. 18.

Investigators with the Wilton Manors Police Department said the melee came after Kodak Black, whose real name is Bill Kapri, “brought all three mothers of his kids,” including Johnson, to a Jan. 15 birthday party at The Manor, located at 2345 Wilton Drive.

The women “were unhappy to see each other” and “started arguing,” according to an incident report, and one attempted to fight Kapri “three times” inside the venue.

“(A witness) stated while the mothers were arguing and trying to fight, one of their brothers, (redacted), got involved in the argument and that’s how the entire fight started,” police wrote. “Once (redacted) got involved, so did Kodak Black’s entourage.”

One woman told police that Johnson “snatched her wig off her head and punched her in the face,” the report states.

Police said that a sink, toilet, printer and computer screen were among the items damaged inside the club.

They said officers disbanded the crowd and Johnson and the others involved in the brawl had already left.

Records show she was being held in the Broward Main Jail as of Friday after her arrest in a separate criminal mischief case out of Coral Springs.

Editor’s note: The original version of this article incorrectly conflated two separate cases and misstated Johnson’s charges in the Wilton Manors case. She is facing a misdemeanor battery charge in the Wilton Manors case and felony criminal mischief charges in a case out of Coral Springs. The article has been corrected.
