MIAMI — Sebastian Quintana is the owner of high-end streetwear store Kick Circuit in Kendall.
He told Local 10 News he thinks he was being watched before his store was targeted.
“They’re paying attention to what we have, when we’re moving the items,” he said. “They’ve probably been here before.”
Surveillance video from inside the store shows three men in hoodies smashing their way in through a high impact glass door just before 4 a.m. Thursday.
“(They) busted in, alarm went off, hit the alarm, 90 seconds cleared rack,” said Quintana. “Thirty seconds later, the cops showed up.”
The crooks went for the priciest merchandise, filling their bins with hundreds of items.
“A few Gallery Department shirts, there were some Crime Hearts, Valley Supreme,” Quintana said. “(They are) $200, $250 an item.”
It’s the same MO seen from burglars at another streetwear store, Stepped on Kicks, in Pembroke Pines, just a month ago.
“They’re definitely watching to see what we’re doing,” said Quintana.
The small business owner is now partnering with the Pembroke Pines store and police to bring these thieves to justice before they strike again.
“I just feel disrespected,” Quintana said.
