POMPANO BEACH, Fla. — Deputies were investigating a stabbing on Friday morning in Broward County.

According to Carey Codd, a Broward Sheriff’s Office spokesman, a woman used a knife to injure a man at about 7:10 a.m., in Pompano Beach.

Deputies detained the woman for the stabbing along Blount Road, between Herb Culbreath Drive and Northwest 19 Street, near Broward Partnership Pompano Beach Center, a homeless assistance facility.

“The adult male suffered a minor cut with a knife,” Codd wrote in a statement. “The adult male was treated on scene for the minor injury.”
