A drone recorded video of Hurricane Melissa’s destruction on Wednesday in southwestern Jamaica’s St. Elizabeth parish.
Another drone recorded aerial video of flooded streets, downed trees, and damaged roofs in northwestern Jamaica’s Montego Bay in the St. James parish.

The changing death toll had increased to eight on Wednesday afternoon, The Associated Press reported.
In Black River, a coastal town in the St. Elizabeth parish, two unidentified bodies washed ashore, the Associated Press reported. Jamaican officials had yet to confirm a death toll.
“The entire hillside came down last night,” Robert James told The Associated Press in Santa Cruz, a town in the St. Elizabeth parish, where there was a massive landslide.
