NORTH MIAMI, Fla. — It was a short week for the holiday, but two South Florida restaurants were ordered shut last week.

One for a fresh round of problems, the other adding to a long and troubling history.

Chicken Kitchen in North Miami was ordered shut following a complaint-based inspection, while Iron Sushi in Downtown Dadeland again failed multiple re-inspections after yet another shutdown.

Both establishments were allowed to re-open only after completing state-ordered cleanups and passing follow-up inspections.
