MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. — A northwest Miami-Dade home was deemed unsafe early Saturday after a fire tore through the property late Friday night, according to county officials.
Emergency crews were called to the West Little River neighborhood shortly before 11 p.m. The home, located on Northwest 85th Street just east of Northwest 22nd Avenue, showed significant smoke damage to the roof and throughout the interior, with much of the inside charred.
By Saturday morning, an “Unsafe Property Notice” was posted on a front window, signed by a Miami-Dade County building official.
Authorities have not yet said whether anyone was inside the home at the time of the fire or whether any injuries were reported.
The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
