2 teens on dirt bikes struck by car in Coral Springs Two teenagers were seriously injured Wednesday when their mini dirt bike collided with a vehicle in Coral Springs, officials said.

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. — Two teenagers were seriously injured Wednesday when their electric bicycle collided with a vehicle in Coral Springs, officials said.

The crash happened in the area of Coral Ridge Drive and Heron Bay Boulevard.

Officers said the car involved in the crash was a red Lexus that was driven by a woman.

First responders from Coral Springs Fire Rescue said one was airlifted and the other was taken by ground to Broward Health Medical Center.

Both teens suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation. Authorities said the driver involved in the collision remained at the scene.
